The Taiwan International Higher Education Scholarships Program and Development Fund’s Best Education Scholarship offers assistance to developing countries towards education.

This non-profit organization provides funding for higher education, has collaborations in place with globally renowned universities in Taiwan, and has developed an array of focused, specialized programs such as undergraduate, graduate degrees, and doctorates that have all reached new heights via this innovative system.

Scholarship value/inclusions:

The Taiwan ICDF provides each scholarship recipient with a full scholarship, including return airfare, housing, tuition and credit fees, insurance, textbook costs, and a monthly allowance.

Eligibility Taiwan International Higher Education Scholarships Program

Applicants must be the citizens of a country on the list of Countries Eligible for the TaiwanICDF Scholarship. Applicants who are not eligible for this scholarship will be ineligible for further processing and will not receive any correspondence from TaiwanICDF about their application.

Applicants must satisfy the admission requirements of the partner university to which he or she has applied to study under a TaiwanICDF scholarship.  All Undergraduate Programs only accept applications submitted by citizens of allied countries of ROC (Taiwan).

Application instructions:

The annual application period runs, in principle, from 1 January  to 15 March (for 2022 Scholarship programs, the application period runs from 1 January – 15 March 2022).

Successful applicants will be notified by mail once approved. An email will also be sent to the applicant’s Taiwan passport account with further instructions. Final approval is at the discretion of the ROC Selection Committee and notice can be provided via email or through postal mail.
